Garlic Butter Baked Brie

Quick and easy Garlic Butter Baked Brie recipe takes less than 30 minutes to prepare with minimum ingredients. This mouthwatering appetizer is packed with herb flavor, cheesy and garlicky. It serves perfectly with whole-grain crackers and crostini.

  • 2 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 2-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 21 oz (600 grams) Brie cheese wheel
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme fresh leaves
  • 1 pack whole-grain crackers for serving, or prepared crostini

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Unbox the brie and remove any wrapping paper. Score the top of the brie in a crosshatch pattern with a knife. Transfer the brie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Combine minced garlic with melted butter and pour it over the top of the brie. Sprinkle with salt, ground black pepper, and fresh thyme leaves. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the brie is lightly melted.
  3. Transfer the brie to a serving plate and serve immediately with whole-grain crackers and crostini.
