Garlic Butter Pasta

Garlic butter pasta is a quick and simple dish yet packed with flavor. Angel hair pasta is bathed in a buttery garlic sauce and topped with Italian seasoning.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic, about 3 cloves
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Salt, more to taste
- ½ teaspoon pepper, more to taste
Instructions
- Cook the 8 ounces angel hair pasta according to the package directions in 4 cups chicken broth until it is al dente. Don’t overcook the pasta, it will finish cooking in the sauce.
- Drain the pasta, reserve ¼ cup of the broth, and set the pasta aside.
- In the same pot, melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Add 3 teaspoons minced garlic, and cook for a minute or until it’s fragrant.
- Whisk in the reserved broth, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper,. Add the cooked noodles to the sauce, stir, and cook to fully incorporate.
- Cook the pasta in the sauce, stirring continually, until the noodles absorb the liquid and the sauce has thickened a bit, about 3 minutes.
- Remove the pot from heat and serve the pasta fresh.
