Garlic Ginger Chicken Recipe

Garlic Ginger Chicken Recipe uses bone-in chicken thighs coated in a soy sauce, garlic, and ginger marinade, then baked at 400 degrees until browned and cooked through. The method involves pushing garlic and ginger under the skin if using skin-on chicken for deeper flavor. The soy sauce adds a savory, slightly salty note, while ginger provides warmth and brightness. Baking the chicken on parchment paper makes cleanup easier and helps achieve a well-browned exterior. This recipe delivers a straightforward way to enjoy tender, flavorful chicken thighs with an aromatic garlic-ginger profile.

Description

The Garlic Ginger Chicken Recipe features chicken thighs marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, melted coconut oil, finely minced garlic, and ginger. The soy sauce infuses the chicken with umami, and the ginger brings a crisp, peppery brightness that complements the garlic's pungency. Using bone-in thighs ensures juicy meat that remains tender when baked. Pushing some of the garlic and ginger under the skin, if using skin-on thighs, enhances the flavor penetration directly to the meat.

Baked at a high temperature of 400°F on parchment-lined baking sheets, the chicken develops a nicely browned surface while retaining moisture inside. The combination of ingredients coats the chicken thoroughly, so each bite delivers balanced savory and aromatic tastes. This dish works well as a main protein alongside rice or steamed vegetables for a wholesome meal.

For best results, ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Using parchment paper keeps the baking sheet clean and prevents sticking. This recipe offers a simple approach to making flavorful roast chicken with common pantry ingredients.
