Garlic Shrimp

Garlic Shrimp features large peeled and deveined shrimp sautéed with thinly sliced garlic, red pepper flakes, and paprika in olive oil. The shrimp cook quickly to develop a tender texture with a mildly spicy, smoky flavor balanced by fresh parsley. This dish is practical for a quick seafood appetizer or a main served over rice or pasta.

Description

Garlic Shrimp highlights shrimp cooked briefly in olive oil flavored with thin slices of garlic and red pepper flakes. Paprika adds a subtle smoky warmth, while kosher salt seasons the shrimp evenly. The shrimp are cooked just until opaque to ensure they remain tender and not chewy. A finishing touch of chopped parsley brightens the dish with fresh herb notes. The method is straightforward, requiring careful heat control to avoid burning the garlic and overcooking the shrimp. The result is vibrant in color with a lightly spiced, garlicky taste.

This shrimp dish can be enjoyed on its own or paired with simple side dishes like rice, pasta, or crusty bread to soak up the flavorful oil. It works well served immediately while warm and tender. The fresh parsley adds a touch of herbal freshness that complements the spice and garlic.
