These high protein brownies are quick, easy and fudge like! They are completely flourless and use chocolate protein powder. These brownies are healthy, low sugar, and suitable for many diets and lifestyles.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup creamy all natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • ¼ cup milk of choice regular or dairy free
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add eggs, all natural peanut butter, milk, maple syrup and vanilla. Stir to combine.
  3. Then, add in chocolate protein powder and baking powder. Stir to combine.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer batter to the lined square pan. Dot with extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Finally, remove from oven. Allow brownies to fully cool before slicing into.

Notes

  • Use all natural creamy peanut butter made from only peanuts and salt.
  • Substitute all natural almond butter or cashew butter if desired.

  • The brownie batter will be pretty thick.
  • Do not over bake brownies.  They are meant to be a little gooey.
  • Allow brownies to fully cool before slicing.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • These brownies are better kept in the fridge.
  • Freeze for up to 1 month.
