- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat and melt 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. Season 1 pound boneless chicken thighs or breasts with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until the chicken in no longer pink and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degree Fahrenheit.
- Whisk together ¼ cup olive oil, ½ cup lemon juice, 2 cloves minced garlic, ¼ cup honey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let it cook for 4-5 minutes to allow the garlic to cook and the sauce to thicken. Serve immediately.
