Grated Egg Avocado Toast

A Viral Tik Tok trending recipe with grated egg on avocado toast. Drizzled with hot honey, everything bagel seasoning, and chili flakes this breakfast dish is packed with salty, sweet, and spicy flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 eggs hard-boiled, peeled **
  • 1 tablespoon everything but the bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon mikes hot honey
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • red chili flakes to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the sourdough bread. Cut the avocado in half lengthwise and peel. Remove the pit. Thinly slice each half of the avocado and place it on the toasted bread. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  2. Using a Microplane grater, grate hard-boiled egg on top of the avocado. Sprinkle half of everything but bagel seasoning on top and drizzle with Mike's hot honey. Sprinkle some red chili flakes on top and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs 5-5 Method:
  • Place 1 cup of water in the Instant Pot insert and keep the trivet inside
  • Place eggs on top of the trivet 
  • Close the Instant Pot lid with pressure valve to sealing and pressure cook for five minutes followed by five-minute natural pressure release
  • Release any remaining pressure by moving the pressure release valve to venting Using heat-proof mittens take out the inner pot and run cold water on top of the eggs for 2 minutes
  • Peel the eggs
