Grilled Chicken Breast Recipe

This Grilled Chicken Breast recipe features boneless chicken breasts marinated in a thick paste of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and spices like paprika, garlic powder, and oregano. Grilling yields juicy, well-seasoned meat with a smoky char, suitable for a straightforward dinner or as a component of various dishes.

Description

The chicken breasts are coated thoroughly with a marinade made from olive oil, apple cider vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Allowing the meat to marinate for up to 8 hours enhances flavor penetration. The breasts are grilled on a well-oiled grill or mat over medium-high heat, typically for about 9 minutes per side, until reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.

After grilling, resting the chicken for a few minutes helps redistribute juices for tender slices. This method produces chicken breasts with flavorful seasoning and a balanced smoky profile from the grill, making it versatile for serving with salads, sides, or in sandwiches.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 chicken breast boneless

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. It will be a thick paste.
