Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon and Honey

Report
Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon and Honey pairs ripe peach halves brushed with coconut oil and cooked until soft with charred grill marks. A drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon add sweetness and warmth, complementing the peaches' natural juiciness. The gentle grilling softens the fruit and intensifies its flavor, making it ideal as a dessert or a fresh accompaniment.

Description

This recipe grills peach halves that have been brushed with coconut oil to prevent sticking and encourage caramelization. Cooking on gentle heat for several minutes per side allows the peaches to soften without burning, forming attractive grill marks. After grilling, the peaches are dressed with honey and a pinch of cinnamon to enhance their sweetness and add aromatic spices.

Grilled peaches can be served warm alongside vanilla ice cream for a richer dessert or paired with Greek yogurt for a lighter option. The recipe can be easily adapted to be vegan by using maple syrup instead of honey. Additional garnishes like fresh mint or chopped nuts can provide fresh or crunchy textures. The method also works well with similar stone fruits like plums and nectarines.

Cooking on medium heat is critical to avoid overcooking. Skipping the honey and cinnamon allows use of the peaches in salads or other savory dishes. Grilling imparts a smoky note that contrasts well with sweet or tart accompaniments.
