This simple honey carrots recipe is simple and so tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) whole carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the carrots for about 7 minutes.
  2. Once the carrots are boiled, drain them and transfer them to a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add the butter, honey, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the carrots for about 2-3 minutes, stirring often until they’re coated in the butter and honey mixture. Serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Cut carrots evenly – If you want your carrots to cook evenly, make sure they’re all cut to roughly the same size.
  • Don’t overcook – Check your carrots frequently so they stay tender and not mushy depending on the cooking method you choose.
  • Season well – Season the carrots with salt and pepper according to your preference.
