Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops

Pork chops are marinated in a simple marinade made with honey mustard, soy sauce, and garlic, then grilled until perfectly juicy and tender with some great char!

Ingredients

  • 4 thick-cut pork chops
  • 3 Tbsp honey mustard
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Marinate pork

  1. Add the honey mustard, honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper to a large resealable plastic bag. Seal, then shake or massage until marinade ingredients are combined.
  2. Add pork chops, then seal the bag again. Place bag on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8-12 hours.

Prepare grill

  1. Preheat grill over MED or MED-HIGH heat (you're shooting for a temperature of about 350°F). Make sure grates are clean.

Grill pork

  1. Brush your grill with a little avocado or vegetable oil and grill pork chops for about 6 minutes per side, until beautifully charred and cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F degrees.

Rest and serve

  1. Transfer pork chops to a plate and cover loosely with foil. Let rest 2-5 minutes.
  2. Serve warm with desired sides.

Notes

  • Thinner pork chops will need less cooking time, a good starting point is 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Bone-in chops will need more time - an internal meat thermometer is super helpful to determine when the pork is finished cooking.
  • Instead of grilling, you can cook these pork chops in a grill pan or regular skillet on the stovetop. Cook over MED heat for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F.
