Horseradish Mayo

Using store-bought mayonnaise, prepared horseradish, plus a handful of other ingredients, this horseradish mayo adds great extra taste to beef dishes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise I used store-bought
  • 1-2 tablespoon prepared horseradish cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped chives + extra for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh back pepper + extra for garnish
  • fine cooking salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine lemon juice and garlic powder.
  2. Mix to allow the garlic powder to rehydrate a little.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well to combine, adjusting the amount of horseradish (if needed) and adding salt to taste.
  4. Garnish with extra chives and black pepper.
