- 1 cup wild rice rinsed
- 3 cups chicken stock or water or vegetable stock
- 2 pinch salt

Instructions
- Place wild rice, stock, and salt in a saucepan with a lid on over medium-high heat.
- Bring it to a boil before turning the heat down to low and letting it simmer for 35-40 minutes.
- Once some of the wild rice has split, it is ready. Drain any excess water if needed before serving.
