Instructions

To roast sunflower seeds in the oven:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Arrange sunflower seeds a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Roast until lightly browned and fragrant, stirring occasionally, about 10 to 15 minutes. 
  3. Remove from oven and cool before storing covered in the pantry for 3 to 4 months. Freeze for up to 1 year.

To roast sunflower seeds on the stove:

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat sunflower seeds until lightly browned and fragrant, stirring occasionally, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from skillet and cool before storing covered in the pantry for 3 to 4 months. Freeze for up to 1 year.
