Lemon Ice
Description
The Lemon Ice recipe starts by boiling water and dissolving granulated sugar to create a simple syrup base. Freshly squeezed lemon juice and lemon zest are stirred in to infuse a bright citrus flavor. After freezing the mixture in a heatproof bowl, it is vigorously beaten once semi-frozen to incorporate air and achieve a fluffy, icy texture reminiscent of traditional lemon granita.
This method is straightforward and yields a tangy, lightly sweet dessert with a refreshing mouthfeel. The optional addition of mint sprigs and blueberries offers a herbaceous and fruity contrast. Lemon Ice suits warm weather or as a palate cleanser between courses.
