Mango Float Easy Recipe

Mango Float is a layered no-bake dessert made from graham crackers, whipped all-purpose cream, sweetened condensed milk, and ripe mango slices. The assembly involves layering crackers with cream mixture and mango slices, repeated to create four layers, and chilled until set. The dessert features a creamy, sweet texture with fresh mango flavor and soft, softened crackers that resemble a cake once chilled.

Description

The Mango Float Easy Recipe combines graham crackers, whipped all-purpose cream, sweetened condensed milk, and ripe mangoes in a chilled layered dessert. The cream is chilled and optionally whipped to increase fluffiness, then mixed with sweetened condensed milk for sweetness and creaminess. Thin slices of mango are layered alternately with the cream and graham crackers, creating a structured dessert that sets in the fridge.

After at least 3 to 5 hours of chilling, the graham crackers absorb moisture and soften, giving a cake-like texture. The mango adds fresh, tropical sweetness, balancing the rich cream layers. This no-bake dessert is simple to assemble and relies on the interplay of textures: creamy, soft, and juicy.

The layers can be topped with arranged mango slices for presentation, and leftover crushed graham crackers crushed finely and sprinkled on top can add texture and decoration.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 24 pieces graham crackers (20-24 pieces)
  • 500 ml all-purpose cream (2 packs)
  • 300 ml sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
  • 4 small-medium Mango ripe

Instructions

  1. Chill the all-purpose cream the fridge overnight or in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  2. Peel the skin off the mangoes. Cut away the sides (flesh) from the pit. Lay the mango halves flat-side down on a cutting board. Cut the flesh lengthwise into thin slices. Set aside.
  3. Transfer chilled all-purpose cream in a large bowl. If you like it lighter and fluffier, whip it with a hand mixer until it doubles in volume.
  4. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk to the all-purpose cream until well blended.
  5. Line the bottom of a rectangular or square (8x8 or 6x6) glass dish (or something similar) with a layer Graham crackers then pour and spread ¼ of the cream mixture on top of the crackers and then top with mango slices.
  6. Repeat this process until 4 layers are formed, ending with the cream and mango slices on top. You can arrange the mango slices for the top in an overlapping manner for design.
  7. Chill for at least 3-5 hours to set completely. You know it is ready when the Graham becomes soft and fluffy and no longer dry. You can also freeze it at this point before serving.

Notes

  • Crushed graham crackers can be sprinkled on top before the final mango layer for texture and decoration.
  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sweetened condensed milk, considering the natural sugar in ripe mangoes.
