  • 1/2 cup butter or oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 mashed ripe bananas
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs, then bananas.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing well.
  5. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60 – 70 minutes or until the cake tester comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
  7. Enjoy!
