No Churn Black Sesame Ice Cream

This No Churn Black Sesame Ice Cream offers a rich, creamy texture flavored with finely ground black sesame powder and pure vanilla. Made by folding a whipped heavy cream base into a sweetened black sesame-condensed milk mixture, it freezes without ice cream maker equipment. The ice cream develops a dense, velvety consistency and a toasty nutty flavor from the black sesame.

Description

The recipe involves whipping chilled heavy cream to medium firm peaks for structure. Separately, condensed milk is combined with finely ground black sesame powder and pure vanilla extract to create a deeply flavored base. A portion of the whipped cream is folded into the sesame mixture to lighten it, then reincorporated into the remaining whipped cream, maintaining the airiness and ensuring an even black sesame flavor throughout.

Once mixed, the ice cream is transferred to a freezer-safe container and left to freeze for at least six hours or overnight to firm up to scoopable consistency. Care is taken not to overwhip the cream to avoid butter formation, preserving the smooth mouthfeel. The result is a custard-free, no-churn homemade ice cream showcasing the distinctive flavor of black sesame.
