Oven Baked Greek Chicken Thighs
Description
The Oven Baked Greek Chicken Thighs use a yogurt and lemon marinade to infuse flavor and moisture into the boneless, skinless thighs. The combination of Italian seasoning with fresh garlic and lemon zest yields a balanced herbaceous and citrus profile. Marinating from 15 minutes up to overnight allows the flavors to deepen. Baking at 425°F for 20-25 minutes cooks the chicken evenly without drying it. The straightforward method involves a single baking sheet lined with foil for easy cleanup.
This chicken pairs well with simple sides like roasted vegetables or rice and can be served warm from the oven. The texture is tender from the yogurt marinade and the flavor leans on the bright citrus elements and Italian herb mix.
