Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
- 2 tablespoons parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425° F.
- Clean and cut the ends of the asparagus off.
- Add the asparagus to 2 parchment paper lined 9x13 baking sheets.
- Top the asparagus with avocado oil, butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and thyme. With clean hands toss the asparagus in the seasonings.
- Bake for 8-14 minutes depending on the thickness of the asparagus and if you like your asparagus al dente or softer.
- Remove the baking sheets from the oven.
- Top the asparagus with the parmesan cheese and parsley.
- You can also top it with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if you like.
