Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh peaches (peeled and sliced, about 6-7 large peaches)
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar (depending on sweetness of peaches)
- 1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks, cut into thin slices)
Garnish:
- vanilla bean ice cream (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel and slice the peaches and place in a medium sized bowl. Toss with sugar.
- Pour peaches into a 9 x 13 pan and evenly spread out. Sprinkle cake mix all over the peaches.
- Slice the butter into very thin pieces. Place the butter over the cake mix, trying to cover the entire pan with butter.
- Bake for 42-50 minutes or until bubbly and golden. Remove from the oven and let set up for at least 10-15 minutes.
- Serve with vanilla bean ice cream.
