Pear Vinaigrette

Coming together in just five minutes, this Pear Vinaigrette is a light, yet flavorful dressing perfect for all of your fall and winter salads when pears are in season

Ingredients
- 1 Barlett Pear ripe
- 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- 1 tbsp Zero Acres cultured oil or sub olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- ½ tbsp minced garlic to taste
Instructions
- Cut the stem away from the pair, then dice into small pieces.
- In an immersion blender cup, add diced pears, oil, honey, red wine vinegar, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Blend it until the pears are completely dissolved.
- Add the pomegranate seeds into the vinaigrette and blend again.
- Store in an airtight mason jar with a lid until ready to enjoy. Shake before use.
Notes
- You MUST have a ripe pear for this recipe. It will add sweetness to the dressing as well as make it into a vinaigrette.

- To ripen pears quickly, place them in a sealed brown paper bag on the counter for 1-2 days. Move them to the refrigerator once they’re soft and ripened.
