Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add the juice from the oranges, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and parsley. Whisk until incorporated. Set aside.
  2. In a shallow baking pan the size of the air fryer basket lightly coat with oil or spray with cooking spray. Gently dry the salmon with paper towels and add the salmon fillets to the pan.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the fillets. If all the fillets will not fit in the baking pan, divide the sauce in half and cook in batches.
  4. Place the baking pan with the salmon in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 7-9 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 120°-125°F.- see notes.
  5. Remove the salmon from the pan.
  6. To thicken the sauce, in a small bowl whisk the corn starch and water together creating a slurry. Add the slurry to the remaining hot juices from the cooked salmon and whisk into a sauce.
  7. Drizzle sauce over salmon fillets and serve.

Notes

  • Note: 1 medium orange will provide 3-5 tablespoons or 1/4 - 1/3 cups of fresh juice. You want 1/2 cup of orange juice for this recipe.
  • Farmed salmon has more fat and should be cooked at 125°F without drying out. Fresh salmon is best cooked at a lower temperature, 120°F.
