  • 360 gms sugar 12.5 oz
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 70 gms dark chocolate chips 2.5 oz
  • 1 pinch salt

Graffe

  • 500 gms flour
  • 50 gms lard 1.75 ounces
  • 50 gms sugar 1.75 oz
  • 7 gms dry yeast 2 ¼ tsp
  • 250 ml water + more to make batter, lukewarm, 1 cup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • vegetable oil for deep frying
  • olive oil for handling the dough
  • icing sugar for dusting
