Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce Recipe

This Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce recipe bakes seasoned salmon filets topped with lemon slices, served with a chilled creamy sauce made from yogurt, mayonnaise, fresh dill, capers, garlic, lemon juice, and sea salt. The sauce adds herbaceous brightness to the tender, gently cooked salmon.

Description

Salmon filets are lightly seasoned with sea salt and black pepper, drizzled with olive oil, and topped with two thin lemon slices each. They bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes until the fish is opaque and cooked through without drying out.

A cold lemon dill sauce is prepared by combining plain yogurt, mayonnaise, fresh minced dill, capers, garlic, and freshly squeezed lemon juice with a pinch of sea salt. This sauce is chilled before serving, providing a creamy and tangy contrast to the warm salmon.

The combination highlights the natural flavor of the fish with bright citrus and herb notes from the sauce, offering a balanced and fresh-tasting main course.
