This apple salad is made with tart Granny Smith apples, and savory ingredients to make the perfect combination for sandwiches, or burgers.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp capers
- 3 granny smith apples, sliced thin and chopped into matchsticks
- 1/4 cup minced fresh dill
For the dressing
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp grainy mustard
- juice from one lemon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
- To a small frying pan add 1 tbsp olive oil and turn to medium heat. Once the pan is hot, fry the capers for a few minutes until starting to crisp. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Mix together all of the dressing ingredients and set aside.
- Add sliced apple, fresh dill and fried capers to a medium bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and gently toss the salad. Enjoy!
