Shrimp Fajitas Recipe

Shrimp Fajitas combine marinated shrimp with sautéed bell peppers and onions seasoned with a blend of chili powder, paprika, and garlic flavors. The quick-cooked shrimp provide a tender, juicy protein complementing the slightly softened crisp peppers and onions. Serve with tortillas and toppings for a customizable Tex-Mex meal.

Description

This recipe calls for seasoning shrimp with a mixture of lime juice and half the fajita seasoning, allowing the flavors to penetrate before cooking. Bell peppers of any color and sliced onions are sautéed in oil until just tender, then seasoned with the remaining spice mix to build a robust base. The shrimp cook quickly, turning pink and opaque in a few minutes, retaining a tender texture.

The shrimp and vegetable mixture can be portioned into warmed tortillas or used as a filling for lettuce wraps. Additional toppings like avocado, cheese, cilantro lime ranch, sour cream, salsa, and fresh cilantro allow for varied flavors and textures with each serving.
