Slow Cooker Cabbage and Ham recipe is the perfect combination of seared, juicy ham and tender cabbage, such a healthy and hearty meal!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 head of a large green cabbage chopped
- 1 1/2 cups broth chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Add the oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ham and saute until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and transfer it to the slow cooker.
- Add the onion and garlic to the same pan and saute for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent. Transfer to the slow cooker.
- Add chopped cabbage and broth to the slow cooker. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
- Cook on "HIGH" for two hours or until cabbage is perfectly tender. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve garnished with parsley.
