Ingredients

Servings
  • 800 g sweetened condensed milk cans

Kitchen Gadgets:

  • Crockpot

Instructions

  1. Peel the wrapping off your cans of condensed milk
  2. Place the condensed milk into the Crockpot and cover with enough water from the hot tap to just cover the tops of them. Then slow cook for 4 hours on high or 7 hours on low.
  3. Remove from the slow cooker, allow to cool, and then open your cans.
  4. You now have dulce de leche. Tuck in or if you prefer transfer them to mason jars for storage.

Notes

  • Hot. The cans will be very hot when you remove them from the slow cooker. You might prefer to give them an ice bath before opening to speed up this process.
