Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Clusters

Slow Cooker Chocolate Peanut Clusters combine multiple types of roasted peanuts with peanut butter chips, German sweetened chocolate, semisweet chocolate chips, and vanilla candy bark. The ingredients are layered in a slow cooker and gently melted together over several hours, stirring periodically to blend the chocolates evenly. Once set, the clusters are scooped onto wax paper and cooled to firm up. The result is a rich, crunchy candy with layers of peanut flavor and sweet chocolate.

Description

This recipe assembles salted and unsalted roasted peanuts with a combination of peanut butter chips, German sweetened chocolate, semisweet chocolate chips, and vanilla candy bark. The ingredients are carefully layered in a slow cooker to ensure gradual melting without scorching. Cooking for several hours on low or high heat, with occasional stirring, creates a homogeneous mixture with a balanced peanut and chocolate profile.

The final mixture is portioned using a 1-inch cookie scoop onto wax paper or parchment to cool and solidify. Using a baking sheet helps facilitate transferring to the refrigerator for faster setting, though ambient kitchen temperature can suffice. The clusters feature a combination of crunchy peanuts embedded in creamy, sweet chocolate, offering a candy suitable for snacks, desserts, or gift-giving.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 16 oz roasted peanuts salted, jarred
  • 16 oz roasted peanuts unsalted, jarred
  • 12 oz peanut butter chips
  • 4 oz sweetened German chocolate bar green box, Bakers brand
  • 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 lb vanilla candy bark

Instructions

  1. Layer ingredients in a precise order: peanuts, chocolate, peanut butter chips, semi sweet chips, vanilla bark.
  2. Close the lid and let the chocolate and candy melt for two hours on low or 1 hour on high.
  3. Stir well then allow to heat on low another 2 hours or high for 1 more hour, stirring each hour.
  4. Scoop candy, using a 1" cookie scoop onto wax paper or parchment paper. We like to place on a baking sheet, so we can pop into the fridge to chill to set quickly if it is hot out, though it will set quickly if it is cool in your kitchen.
  5. Let set, about 20-30 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
