Ingredients
Kitchen Gadgets:
- Slow cooker
Slow Cooker Keema Curry Ingredients:
- 400 g Minced lamb
- 1 medium white onion
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 celery sticks
- 3 medium garlic cloves
- 300 ml tinned tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1 Tbsp Coriander
- ¼ Tsp chilli powder
- 1 Tbsp garam masala
- 1 Tsp Turmeric
- 1 Tbsp tomato puree
- salt & pepper
- 240 ml frozen peas
Instructions
- Start by doing your prep. Wash and thinly slice your celery. Peel and thinly dice your carrots, onion, and garlic. Load everything into the slow cooker apart from the frozen peas. Stir well with your hands and place the lid on the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 3 hours and then add in your frozen peas and stir.
- Cook for a further hour and then stir before serving with some brown rice.
Notes
- Rice. I love to serve my keema curry with my instant pot brown rice. When the slow cooker has 30 minutes left, focus on prepping and cooking your brown rice.
- Fatty. If on SW and looking for lowering the fat, I recommend you drain the fat from the meat just before adding in the frozen peas.
