Spicy Peanut Dipping Sauce

Spicy Peanut Dipping Sauce combines creamy peanut butter with sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and a touch of Sriracha. The sauce can be thinned with water to achieve the preferred consistency, making it versatile for dipping or drizzling. This balance of nutty, tangy, and spicy flavors suits a range of dishes, from fresh vegetables to grilled meats.

Description

The Spicy Peanut Dipping Sauce features creamy peanut butter as the base, enhanced with toasted sesame oil and soy sauce for depth and saltiness. Fresh minced garlic and lemon juice add brightness, while Sriracha introduces a mild heat that can be adjusted to taste. The sauce is mixed until smooth, and water is gradually added to reach a pourable or dippable consistency depending on preference.

This sauce serves as a flavorful complement to a variety of foods, such as fresh veggies, spring rolls, grilled meats, or noodles. Its creamy texture and balance of savory, tangy, and spicy notes enrich simple dishes with minimal effort.

When preparing, warming the peanut butter slightly helps achieve a smoother blend. Adjust the soy sauce incrementally to control saltiness, and vary the amount of Sriracha to suit your preferred heat level. Adding water one tablespoon at a time ensures the desired thickness without overshooting.

  • ¼ - ½ cup of water start with ¼
  • ¼ teaspoon Sriracha sauce to taste, or other chili sauce

  • Add water slowly, one tablespoon at a time, to reach your desired consistency without over-thinning.
  • Introduce soy sauce gradually to avoid excessive saltiness.
  • Adjust or omit Sriracha to control spiciness according to personal taste.
