Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon

The Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon cooks salmon filets with a blend of sweet red chili sauce, Sriracha, and fresh ginger. The glaze provides a balanced sweet heat with a touch of fresh spice. Roasting the salmon in the oven after an initial air-frying step ensures a tender, moist texture with flavorful caramelization. Garnished with scallions, this dish pairs well with simple sides and delivers a punch of flavor with minimal ingredients.

Description

This Sweet and Spicy Glazed Salmon recipe starts with wild salmon filets seasoned lightly with kosher salt. The glaze is a mixture of sweet red chili sauce, spicy Sriracha, and freshly grated ginger, which brings together sweetness, heat, and a bright ginger aroma without overpowering the fish. Initial air frying cooks the salmon gently, retaining moisture and texture.

After seasoning, the salmon is brushed with the prepared glaze and roasted in the oven to allow the sauce to caramelize lightly, creating a sticky, flavorful coating. The garnish of sliced scallions adds a mild onion note and a fresh finish. This cooking method enhances the natural richness of the salmon while adding layers of sweet heat and spice.

Serving this salmon alongside steamed vegetables, rice, or a simple salad provides a balanced meal. The glaze's flavor profile makes it suitable for a weeknight dinner that offers a bit of zest and comfort without complexity.
