Taco Seasoned Grilled Fish Recipe

Super easy, healthy and fast - this Taco Seasoned Grilled Fish Recipe only has 4 ingredients and is the perfect meal for 2. It has great taco flavor and is nice and smoky from being grilled on a cedar plank.

Ingredients

  • 2 filets firm white fish cod, tilapia, halibut, etc, about 6 oz each
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Soak a cedar plank for 1-2 hours. Dry with a towel.
  2. Heat a grill to medium heat, about 350ºF. Place the cedar plank on the grill to heat up for 5 minutes.
  3. While the plank is heating, squeeze the lime juice over the fish. Sprinkle on the taco seasoning, then rub into coat both filets entirely.
  4. Transfer the filets to the hot plank. Close the lid of the grill, keeping it at a medium heat. Keep a water bottle nearby to put out any flare ups on the plank.
  5. Grill until the fish flakes easily, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with the cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Do not flip the fish while cooking.
  • Add more taco seasoning if you want a bolder flavor.
