Teriyaki Ground Beef and Broccoli
Description
This Teriyaki Ground Beef and Broccoli recipe starts by steaming broccoli florets briefly until bright green and tender crisp. The broccoli is set aside while lean ground beef cooks in the same skillet, seasoned lightly with salt and pepper and combined with sliced green onions. A teriyaki sauce is prepared by whisking together soy sauce, water, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sriracha, ground ginger, garlic powder, and cornstarch for thickening.
Once the beef is fully cooked, steamed broccoli is returned to the skillet and the teriyaki sauce is poured over everything. The mixture is stirred until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly. The final dish features a balance of tender, flavorful beef, crisp-tender broccoli, and a glossy sauce with sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy elements. This dish pairs naturally with rice to absorb the sauce.
