Description
To prepare the Nutella milkshake, vanilla ice cream is blended with milk and Nutella until smooth and creamy. The ice cream provides a sweet vanilla base while Nutella adds the distinctive chocolate and hazelnut flavor. Milk controls the consistency — less milk yields a thicker shake, while more creates a lighter texture.
The blending process ensures all ingredients are thoroughly combined into a uniform texture free of ice cream lumps, resulting in a silky drink. This milkshake is served chilled in tall glasses so you can enjoy its rich, smooth mouthfeel.
For customization, adding a few ice cubes during blending adds frothiness and a slightly colder drink. Leaving the ice cream out briefly before blending can make it easier to combine and prevents overly thick clumps.
Ingredients
- 150 grams vanilla ice cream
- 80 grams milk or 80ml
- 80 grams Nutella or 4 tablespoons
Instructions
- It really can't be easier. Add all three ingredients to a food processor, or blender. For easier blending, it helps to add the milk to the blender first, followed by the other two ingredients in no particular order.
- Whiz until smooth and creamy! It should take about 20-30 seconds.If you want a thinner milkshake, add a small touch of milk and blend again until you achieve your perfect consistency.Similarly, add less milk from the start for a thicker milkshake.
- Pour into tall milkshake glasses and serve.
Notes
- Remove ice cream from the freezer about 10 minutes before blending to soften for easier mixing.
- After initial blending, stir with a spoon to break up any remaining ice cream clumps, then blend again for smoothness.
- For a frothier texture, add a few ice cubes while blending.
- Adjust the milk quantity to achieve your preferred thickness, blending again after each addition.
