Tropical Mango Hot Dogs Recipe

Tropical Mango Hot Dogs combine grilled hot dogs with a vibrant mango and avocado salsa, complemented by a sweet and spicy mayonnaise and fresh coleslaw. The grilled hot dogs develop a crispy, smoky exterior, while the salsa brings a tropical sweetness with a touch of heat from jalapeño. The creamy mayo and crunchy slaw balance the textures and flavors for a fresh take on a classic meal. This recipe suits casual outdoor dinners or quick lunches with a fruity twist.

Description

This recipe begins by grilling hot dogs until cooked through and crispy from cross-hatched slices, with optional grilling of the buns for added texture. The mango salsa blends diced mango, avocado, and sliced jalapeño for a fresh, sweet, and spicy topping. A sweet and spicy mayonnaise is made by mixing mayonnaise, honey, sriracha, and lime juice, adding creaminess and brightness.

The hot dog buns are assembled by spreading the mayonnaise, layering coleslaw, placing the grilled hot dog, and topping with the mango salsa. The resulting bite combines smoky, sweet, creamy, and tangy notes with varied textures, making it a unique variant on traditional hot dogs.
