Ingredients

  • 190 g almond butter ¾ cup, natural style
  • 120 g vegan margarine (½ cup)
  • 100 g brown sugar ½ cup, soft
  • 100 g caster sugar (½ cup)
  • 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 230 g all-purpose flour 1+¾ cups, also known as plain flour
  • ½ Teaspoon baking soda
  • Small Pinch salt sea salt
  • Up to 3 Tablespoons plant-based milk (if needed, to help the dough stick together)
  • 80 g chocolate chips ~½ cup, vegan

Notes

  • *Depending on the brand of margarine you use, you may not need to add any plant-based milk at all. The dough should be quite firm and not break apart.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
