3 Min Tandoori Paste Recipe
Description
The 3 Min Tandoori Paste Recipe combines plain yogurt with a carefully balanced mix of spices such as turmeric, red chili powder, coriander, cumin, garam masala, and aromatic ground cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Fresh ginger and garlic pastes add pungency, while fresh chopped cilantro adds a bright herbal note. Optional chaat masala introduces a tangy and slightly spicy dimension.
The mixture creates a smooth marinade paste that can be applied to chicken, fish, vegetables, or even soy products, ready to be cooked immediately or frozen for later use. The spices provide a complex flavor profile characteristic of Indian tandoori cuisine, with heat and warmth balanced by the creamy yogurt base.
For a milder, redder color, Kashmiri chili powder is recommended, authentic to Indian preparation. If chaat masala is unavailable, it can be omitted or replaced with black salt. This marinade is convenient for enhancing dishes quickly while delivering classic regional flavor notes.
