Ingredients
- 500 g (1lb) chicken wings
- 1½ cups flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
For the dunked sauce
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions
- Combine the flour with a teaspoon each onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the bread crumbs with the same spices and whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Coat the chicken first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the bread crumbs. Press the crumbs into the chicken to thoroughly coat each wing.
- Place the chicken wings in a single layer in your air fryer basket.
- Spray or drizzle with olive oil then air fry at 205°C/400°F for 20 minutes, turning over half way through cooking, until the chicken is crisp and golden and cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, combine all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan set over medium-high heat.
- Allow to simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce has reduced slightly.
- Toss the cooked chicken wings in the sauce and serve immediately.
