Air Fryer Mushrooms and Onions

This air fryer recipe is perfect for anyone looking for delicious garlicky mushrooms with crispy edges. It makes an amazing side dish and only requires a few minutes to prepare!

Ingredients

  • ½ pound mushrooms (sliced - see notes below)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion (sliced - see notes below)
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon ground sweet (or smoked) paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground onion powder
  • 1-2 tablespoon melted butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Transfer the mushrooms and onions to a large bowl.
  2. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste, paprika, ground garlic, and onion powder.
  3. Transfer to your air fryer basket then air fry at 190°C/375°F for 10-12 minutes shaking the air fryer basket halfway through, or until you get your desired crispiness.
  4. Once cooked, transfer the mushrooms and onions to a plate, and top with the melted butter (or margarine).
  5. Serve immediately and keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
