Air Fryer Pork Chop Bites Recipe
Description
Air Fryer Pork Chop Bites Recipe features boneless pork chop cubes tossed with a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and a hint of brown sugar. These spices create a rich, savory crust during air frying at 400°F, which crisps the outside while maintaining a juicy center. Once cooked to a safe internal temperature, the bites are tossed in a melted butter and honey mixture, adding a glossy finish and mild sweetness. Chopped parsley is sprinkled on top for a fresh touch. This cooking method produces a flavorful, textured bite that can be enjoyed as a snack, appetizer, or part of a larger meal.
The pork bites can be served on their own or alongside a simple salad or steamed vegetables for a balanced plate. The combination of spices and the honey-butter glaze provides a layered flavor profile that complements the natural pork taste without overpowering it.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound pork chops cut into 1-inch cubes, boneless thick-cut
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon onion powder
- 1 Teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ Teaspoon chili powder
- 2 Tablespoons butter unsalted, melted
- 1 Tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- parsley chopped, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the cubed meat with olive oil and the seasoning, except butter and honey. Make sure the pieces are well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive oil spray. Add the pork chop bites in an even layer, with out overlapping. If needed, cook in batches.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes until the meat's internal temperature reaches at least 145°F and the bites look golden brown. Shake the basket halfway through cooking time.
- Mix the melted butter and honey in a bowl and toss the cooked bites with the mixture.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
