This kid-friendly and versatile side dish that cooks to crispy, crunchy perfection in under 20 minute.

Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 teaspoon seasoning of choice such as Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon oil
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Scrub potatoes, cut into wedges (about 8-10 per potato) and add to ice cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Then dry the wesdges and place in a bowl or ziploc bag.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F / 200C.
- Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with seasoning and salt, and then mix to coat well.
- Add wedges into the air fryer basket (in batches if needed) and cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket a couple of times during cooking.

Notes
- Removing excess starch will help you to get the perfect french fry consistency. Soak the potatoes in ice water for 30-minutes before cooking.
- Be sure to thoroughly dry your potatoes with a kitchen towel or paper towels.
- This recipe calls for ½ teaspoon of oil, but you can leave the oil out. Be sure to spray your basket with cooking spray according to your manufacturer's instructions if you choose not to use oil.
- Save time and leave the skins on! They taste great and hold lots of nutrients. If you have picky eaters, you can remove them and still prepare the recipe the same way.
