Instructions
- Slice and dice your vegetables and load them into a mixing bowl. Add in Chinese five spice, salt, and pepper. Pour in extra virgin olive oil. Mix well and then load into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 14 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Remove the vegetables and load back into the bowl, add teriyaki sauce, mix with your hands, and then place onto a layer of foil. Place back in the air fryer and cook for a further 5 minutes at 180c/360f.
Notes
- Seasoning. You can mix and match with any of your favourite Chinese seasonings or marinades. You can also swap teriyaki for oyster sauce, sweet and sour sauce, or another favourite.
- Rescue. I recommend you have a fridge clear out and use up what you have in your fridge the night before grocery shopping. That is what we do all the time with our air fryer vegetable recipes.
- Vegetables. I recommend aiming for vegetables of a similar size. I also recommend using a smaller broccoli that is easy to cut into small florets as this will air fry better.
- Thanks for reading teriyaki vegetables on Recipe This. We have many more Air Fryer recipes for you to check out next. Though if you would like more Chinese food, then I recommend you try our air fryer frozen sweet and sour balls.
