Ingredients
- 2 large bone-in pork chops 1-inch thick
- Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Season both sides of pork chops with all black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, poultry seasoning, dried sage, and cayenne. In a large skillet over medium high heat add oil. When oil is hot, add pork chops and cook on one side for about 3 - 5 minutes or until seared and browned. Turn and cook on the other side and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes until that side is browned. Place in an oven safe baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes. (Please note that cooking times can vary depending on the size and thickness of the pork chops.)
