Buffalo Chicken Salad

Buffalo chicken salad is a delicious meal that's healthy and filling! With a homemade buffalo ranch dressing, this recipe is amazingly tasty!

Ingredients

Servings

For the Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley dried
  • ½ teaspoon basil dried
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoon hot sauce see note

For the Salad

  • 2 cups chicken cooked, cubed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 6 cups mixed greens see note
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 1 cup cucumber diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese diced

Instructions

For the Salad Dressing

  1. Whisk all ingredients together, except the milk.
  2. Pour in enough milk to make the dressing the consistency you like, you may need more or less than the listed amount.
  3. Taste and adjust salt and pepper to your preference.

For the Salad

  1. Toss all salad ingredients together.
  2. Toss with salad dressing, as much as desired.

  • You can use any kind of hot sauce you like and adjust the measurement to your tastes. 
  • You may need to add more milk to get the salad dressing to the consistency you'd like. 
  • You can use any kind of salad or lettuce you prefer.
