Ingredients

  • 8 oz (230g) chicken breast cut into cubes
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb (500g) asparagus bottom stems trimmed

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Thai sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix the chicken with cornstarch. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Sauce and stir well. Set both aside.
  2. Heat a skillet with the oil. Sauté the garlic until aromatic. Add the chicken and stir-fry until the surface turns opaque. Then add the asparagus and continue to stir-fry for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the sauce to the skillet. Once it thickens, dish out the contents and serve immediately.
