Instructions

  1. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add chopped dill pickles, and fresh dill weed and stir to combine.
  3. Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth out the top.
  5. Arrange a few small sliced dill pickles and dill weed on top of the dip for presentation.
  6. Serve with dippers such as crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • Your cream cheese needs to be fully softened before mixing. This will give the dip a smooth, creamy texture and make it easier to combine with the other ingredients.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika or chopped fresh parsley for an extra pop of color.
  • I recommend chilling the dip for at least an hour so that the flavors meld together, making the dip even tastier.
  • After mixing, taste the dip and adjust the garlic powder, onion powder, and salt as needed. Since the pickles and cream cheese can vary in saltiness, this will make sure you have the correct balance of yumminess.
  • Fresh dill weed gives the dip a vibrant flavor. If you need to use dried dill, remember that dried herbs are more concentrated, so use about 1/3 of the amount.
  • If you prefer a thicker dip, reduce the amount of sour cream or add more cream cheese. To thin it out, add a bit more sour cream.
  • Storing - Store the dill pickle dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
