Easy Black Bean Dip

You don't need any fancy ingredients or much time to make a delicious and crowd-pleasing easy black bean dip! This appetizer comes together in just 5 minutes thanks to canned black beans and it packs in a ton of flavor with a few simple spices that I bet you already have in the pantry!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz can black beans 425 g, drained
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 30 mL
  • 1 Tbsp sour cream 15 g, omit for vegan option
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp each cumin, ground coriander, chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blitz all ingredients in a food processor until smooth, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Storage: You can make this dip ahead of time and store it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Let it come to room temperature before serving or use it in a 7-layer dip.
