Easy Kulfi Recipe with Condensed Milk

This Easy Kulfi recipe uses condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream combined with cardamom, saffron, and pistachios to create a creamy, dense Indian frozen dessert. The preparation involves mixing the ingredients, layering pistachios in cups, and freezing the mixture until firm. Kulfi results in a smooth, richly flavored ice cream-like texture with aromatic spices and crunchy nut toppings.

Description

Easy Kulfi with Condensed Milk achieves its traditional richness from a mixture of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Ground cardamom and a pinch of saffron threads impart classic Indian flavors, while chopped pistachios add texture and nutty notes. The method involves combining the milks and cream, stirring in spices, and layering pistachios in disposable cups before pouring in the mixture.

The cups are then covered with foil, with a cut made to insert popsicle sticks, and frozen for at least three hours. To unmold, dipping the cups briefly in hot water loosens the kulfi, allowing for easy removal. The thickened, creamy texture and aromatic flavor profile distinguish this dessert, which can be served as individual frozen treats.
